Dirty tricks by Radical Ruth

Mysteriously overnight, Grijalva signs along 22nd Street from Star Pass to midtown have been replaced by Viva Ruth signs. I guess her minions were busy on Thursday night.

I wonder if John McCain taught her that tactic, since he is now bankrolling her campaign, letting her use his office, and touring around Southern Arizona with her this weekend. I told you she was a Sarah Palin wannabe.

Now that is irony- Since a key member of Raul’s crew, Council member Romero’s husband has just been criminally sited for stealing signs and stupidly leaving them in his car.
No one said they had the brains to just use her “Graffiti Grant” thugs to do this-type “Chicago-citizen activist” grunt work.

You crack me up, why don’t you ask Ruben Reyes (Grijalva’s Flunky) where he got the Ruth McClung’s signs that were in the back of his SUV.  Just about every McClung sign in Midvale Park disappeared Wednesday night, would like to write about that.

Let’s not blame this poor ol’ flunky Reyes….
He was put on the payroll- Typical featherbedding we have come to expect from Raul and his crew- This, after all was supposed to be a “no brainer” 10-20 point gerrymandered, retirement gift to the pixilated KingFish…..

Well, things got closer, the Washington boys took over and most likely told poor ol’ Reyes to get out of the road and think of something he knows he could do…. The rest  is just handwriting (or graffitti) on the public wall.

Viva Ruth?  This seems like a most unlikely campaign sign.  It is just incongruent with her image.

Yes, as the liberals tell us, we must call the various races by their appropriate races so we can leverage them for identity politics.

This business about the signs is just so much schoolyard antics. If signs or tv commercials won elections money alone would determine the winner. Fortunately, that is not the case. Elections are won by person to person contact. That is an expensive prposition; much , much more expensive than media costs IF YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR IT. We doubt that Radical Ruth can muster the volunteer support to canvass just one precinct let alone all of them and several times over. That can be done, however if the candidate can inspire people to work for free. Were I Ruth McClung,I would quiver at the thought that Grijalva has hordes of supporters who shw up to walk for him week after week.

Yeah, if ONE staffer swipes two signs each…Imagine the hordes of supporters and what they can do since they are so beholding to the King Fish of the County for their meager handouts such as they are.

Two general issues with the sitting Congressman….
How does he square his “enviromental” mantle and the full diapers and empty KFC buckets strewn by the illegals across the fragile dessert?

How painful was it to actually have to campaign this time and lower yourself to actually meeting your constituents Vs. just controlling them?

All I know is that if any of McClung’s staff  was caught red handed with stolen property they would be gone THAT day and Raul would have pulled out every race card from the handy but tired old deck.

The full diapers, yes; but there are no KFC’s in the middle of the desert.  Either way, I prefer to have my dessert sans full diapers.

Then you better not support Raul- He seems to tacitly approve the massive littering across our public (and especially) private lands in the name of human traffic
Next question… How many Democrats would support the “transition to citizenship” if it included a condition (like all felons) of never being allowed to vote?
About as many as the number of illegals willing to go thru all the hoops and fines?
    Yeah, about the same number.

And they  carry them in with them, comprende? Sheez….like the water jugs,  the Uof A School of Law applications, and the directions to the transportation vans to the polls…..

It is past my bedtime, but I will make a comment and a suggestion: first, it’s unconstitutional to have different classes of citizenship, so this hypothetical can never happen.  Second, consider googling something like “conspiracism vs institutional analysis”.  You’ve bought into these wild and unfounded conspiracy theories that migrants get everything free and that they will be voting in the election and that you are the victim in all this.  People do get better; you can too.

This could all be eliminated if we adopted Hawaiian style campaign laws: No permanently posted campaign signs allowed. The candidates and/or supporters hold them in their hands standing on street corners during the morning & evening rush hours, waving to the passing cars. If you support the candidate you wave back. If you don’t support them, you ignore them – honking or flipping them off is considered to be in very bad taste.

HAHAHA so Ruben Reyes gets caught stealing signs and it looks really bad for Grijalva, so you have to try to manufacture a story about Ruth’s supporters stealing Grijalva’s turd/mustache signs??

Think about this one for a second… maybe Grijalva is now so hated and reviled in the Hispanic community that they can’t stand to see his turd/mustache signs and everyday people are just taking them down themselves!

It is  hypothetical; The handouts, vans  portion was very possibly a weak joke.
Felons released have a life long ban on certain activities- including voting, so I’m not sure about that idea of two classes of citizenship.
Democrats cannot wait for another beholding class/block of voters.
And I fear no man, Only God.
Victimhood is an incidious evil taught by dogs to enslave the weak minded.

Raul will take his District, it has been set up that way and no one can change that, he is welcome to it. The question is about the ridiculous featherbedding- When he finally kicks the bucket due to all that heathy lifestyle- Will we have to put up with Romero or Glassman?

The Tucson Progressive: Pamela J. Powers

I stand on the side of Love. I believe in kindness to all creatures on Earth and the inherent self-worth of all individuals–not just people who agree with me or look like me.

Widespread economic and social injustice prompted me to become a candidate for the Arizona House, representing Legislative District 9 in the 2016 election.

My platform focused on economic reforms to grow Arizona’s economy, establish a state-based public bank, fix our infrastructure, fully fund public education, grow local small businesses and community banks, and put people back to work at good-paying jobs.

In the Arizona House, I was a strong voice for fiscal responsibility a moratorium on corporate tax breaks until the schools were fully funded, increased cash assistance to the poor, expansion of maternal healthcare benefits, equal rights, choice, unions, education at all levels and protecting our water supply.

After three terms, I retired from the Arizona Legislature in January 2023 but will continue to blog and produce my podcast “A View from the Left Side.”
